Project Overview

Yu Ming Charter School, a TK-8th grade, Mandarin Immersion school, has been in search of a permanent home for years. PCSD is supporting this national blue ribbon award winning school in securing financing for its first forever home. As one of Yu Ming’s three sites, this West Oakland site will house 460 students in TK-4th grades. Yu Ming moved into the site with a lease in July 2023 and expects financing with Equitable Facilities Fund to purchase this site to close in October 2023.
