Project Overview
KIPP Northern California expanded into Stockton with the allocation by the city of Stockton of 3.8 acres at the University Park complex which includes an education and medical focus.
KIPP Northern California’s goal is to develop the KIPP University Park campus in three phases with the eventual goal of growing the school to serve 1,033 students in K-8. The full campus will be around 76,000 square feet and will include separate elementary and middle school buildings with classrooms and administration, a gymnasium with music classroom and food servery, a multipurpose room, outdoor playground and recreation space, and onsite parking and school drop off.
Phase I of the project was delivered and included construction of a temporary facility of approximately 6,000 sqft with 6 modular classrooms, 1 modular bathroom, outdoor playspace, and onsite parking and drop off. The facility will serve about 110 middle school students.
