Project Overview

TCSD is partnering with Elevate Collegiate Charter School, a PreK-5 grade school that is located in the Greater Third Ward of Houston, to project manage and invest in their new school facility. TCSD has worked with the school to sign a 35-year lease with two 10-year extension options at the new location.

During phase I, which will be delivered in fall 2023, the school will occupy 9,600 sf of an existing 2-story building to create 7 classrooms and an office and administrative space. In phase II, scheduled for delivery spring 2024, TCSD will develop a second story within the vaulted space of an existing single-story building. This will provide for an additional 12 classrooms along with a kitchen and multipurpose room (MPR) that will be shared with the church.
