Project Overview

PCSD managed the development and construction of a new facility for Bright Star Schools’ Valor Academy High School in Los Angeles. Previously co-located on the Panorama High School campus, Valor Academy High School enrolls 500 students in grades 9-12. The new site, located in the neighborhood of North Hills, is roughly half a mile from the Valor Academy Middle School campus, whose construction was also managed by PCSD.

Completed in 2018, the new high school campus has 23 classrooms, including a science lab, music room, media center, and elective classrooms. In addition, the campus has a multi-purpose room, counseling center, special education center, teacher’s lounge, and administrative offices. A central courtyard also provides a place for students to eat lunch and congregate between classes.
