Project Overview

PCSD supported the development of a new school facility for Boston Preparatory Charter Public School (Boston Prep) in Boston, MA. Opened in 2004, Boston Prep was previously housed in a leased facility, where the school enrolled 400 middle and high school students. The new campus, completed in 2018, accommodates 700 students at full capacity.

The new school is a three-story structure that includes classrooms, a cafeteria, a library, science labs, a teacher’s lounge with showers, and a commercial kitchen. The school offers spaces that foster both formal and casual interactions between students and faculty. The new campus design also includes on-site parking and a bus pull-up in front of the school.
