For nearly two decades, PCSD has provided leaders of charter schools in under-resourced communities with expert guidance and access to philanthropic resources to build long-term facilities. PCSD has expanded across California, Washington State, and Texas to develop more than 130 school campuses by leveraging over $1 billion in philanthropy, private financing and state funding.

PCSD was founded with philanthropic support from NewSchools Venture Fund, The Eli and Edythe Broad Foundation, and The Walton Family Foundation to create an organization of real estate and education professionals to scope, build, and invest in high-quality charter schools serving under-resourced communities.
