Project Overview

PCSD partnered with Education for Change to renovate Achieve Academy, a TK-5 school located on an Oakland Unified School District (OUSD) campus. The three-phase project transformed the campus into a vibrant space for students, featuring new and remodeled classrooms, a soccer field, basketball and tetherball courts, and a new playground. Murals by the Bay Area Mural Project bring the buildings to life, celebrating the culture of the student community and their vision of themselves as Dreamers. This revitalized campus is designed to support the growth and success of TK-5 students in the heart of Oakland’s Fruitvale neighborhood.
