Project Overview
PCSD managed the acquisition and development of this facility for Bright Star Schools in the North Hills neighborhood of Los Angeles. Formerly a bonsai nursery, the site was converted into a 512-seat facility for Valor Academy Middle School, enrolling grades 5-8.
The two-story facility was completed in 2015. It contains 20 classrooms, including a music room and computer lab, as well as a multi-purpose room and administrative offices. Taking advantage of generous outdoor space at the site, the campus includes a large artificial turf field, as well as basketball and volleyball courts.
