Project Overview
PCSD completed this new campus for KIPP Academy of Innovation in 2020 serving 490 elementary school students in East Los Angeles. Part of the KIPP SoCal Public Schools network, the school provides students with a Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics (STEAM) curriculum.
The three-story school optimizes the use of the long narrow site with tuck-under parking. The school has 22 classrooms, speciality art, music, and innovation labs, and a multipurpose room. The building exterior’s innovative design presents the school colors of green and yellow in a playful, lively pattern.
