Project Overview

PCSD added 20,000 square feet of educational space to the existing Fenton Academies campus in the Sun Valley neighborhood of Los Angeles. Known as the Annex, this new facility houses the 5th and 6th grade students at Fenton STEM Academy and Fenton Charter Leadership Academy (FCLA).

Completed in 2021, the Annex includes six regular classrooms, three science classrooms, and two special education classrooms. It also has a large multipurpose room, food servery, counseling offices, and a teachers’ lounge. Improvements were made to the school’s existing parking structure, including the addition of new stairs and a three-story elevator for ADA accessibility.
