Project Overview
PCSD partnered with Green Dot Public Schools to convert a one-story office building into a school facility for Ánimo Mae Jemison Charter Middle School. Located in the Watts neighborhood of Los Angeles, the property is adjacent to the campus for Ánimo Watts College Preparatory Academy High School, which was previously developed by PCSD.
Completed in 2014, the Ánimo Mae Jemison campus offers space for up to 650 students in grades 6-8. The renovated school facility includes classrooms, administrative offices, a play area, a lunch shelter, and an on-site parking lot.
