Project Overview

Through a joint venture with Alliance College-Ready Public Schools, PCSD leased and developed the former site of the Sheenway School and Cultural Center in Los Angeles. In partnership with the Sheen Educational Foundation, PCSD and Alliance renovated the facility into a 550-seat high school campus for Alliance Judy Ivie Burton Technology Academy High School.

The existing fully-enrolled high school moved into the new facility upon completion in 2017. The renovated building includes 24 classrooms, a multi-purpose room, a conference room, science labs, a computer lab, and administration and counseling offices. This project also provided a home for another school, as Alliance was able to move one of their middle schools from temporary quarters into the previous high school location.
