Eric has twenty five years of experience with food plant operations and new plant construction.
Eric joined Roll Global in 2007 as VP of Capital Projects and is responsible for new facility construction for seven of the operating companies owned by Roll Global. Eric started his career as a Project Engineer with Frito-Lay then joined American Italian Pasta Company (AIPC) as a Maintenance Manager. Eric spent 15 years at AIPC as the company grew to the largest pasta manufacturer in North America. Eric became an Executive Officer in 2001 and completed five new facilities for AIPC over a 10 year, $450MM period of rapid growth. Acting as the General Contractor for Roll Global, Eric’s team of 35 have managed over $800MM of capital projects for Paramount Farms, Paramount Citrus, POM Wonderful, Suterra, Fiji Water and Justin Vineyards. The Roll Capital Project group is staffed with 35 Engineers/Project Managers and operates a 40 person Fabrication Facility. The Capital Project process includes feasibility studies, design, process engineering, equipment fabrication and procurement, building construction management and equipment installation. Projects completed for Roll Global include new almond and pistachio plants for Paramount Farms, new bottling plant for POM wonderful, a new winery for Justin Vineyards, a new pheromone manufacturing plant for Suterra and several philanthropic projects including a new preschool in Avenal CA, the Lost Hills City park renovation and Lost Hills City infrastructure improvements. Recently, Eric’s team completed a 650,000 sqft, $190MM Clementine processing facility for Paramount Citrus which included a 2.7MW solar roof and 1.6MW of fuel cells. Eric holds a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Kansas.
