This development includes two Alliance schools – a 600-seat DSA high school and a 450-seat middle school.
Phase I included the development of a new 20 classroom middle school facility, parking, and green space. Phase I construction commenced in February 2013 and the school opened in August 2013. Phase 2 includes the construction for Alliance Media Arts & Entertainment High School (MAEHS). Currently, the MAEHS campus is in two temporary locations; a sub-lease from Green Dot and a sub-lease on a LAUSD campus.
Ultimately, this project will become a permanent home to a new Alliance Middle School and MAEHS with a total stabilized enrollment of 1050 students. The 1.92 acre site will also provide open space and parking for each of the schools.
