STEM Prep Math and Science College Preparatory High School

STEM Prep's Math & Science College Preparatory (MSCP) began occupancy in August 2015 to operate a high school for 500 students on 3200 West Adams.   The project site was formerly home to ICEF Frederick Douglas Middle & High School.  3200 West Adams is located in South Los Angeles, one block west of the corner of Adams Blvd. and Arlington Ave.  The parcel is 1.77 acres in size and is bounded by an elementary school to the east, multifamily housing to the north and south and institutional and commercial uses to the west.  The site has two existing stand-alone buildings, a four-story educational building and a chapel building.

The school facility consists of a total of twenty-four classrooms and administrative offices including a college counseling center in the educational building plus a multi-purpose room, meeting rooms, and administrative offices in the chapel building.

MSCP was founded by Dr. Emilio Pack, who has an extensive seventeen year career in education, first as a school counselor and eventually as a school principal.  In 2006, Dr. Emilio Pack opened what became one of the highest performing high schools in all of Los Angeles, Alliance Dr. Olga Mohan High School.
