Project Overview

This project provided a new campus for Fenton Primary Center, a K-2 school established in 2007.  Fenton Primary Center was previously located on Fenton’s LAUSD site in Lake View Terrace, which housed 1,500 K-5 students on a multi-track calendar.  The new facility enabled Fenton to move its Primary Center from the existing campus, thus reducing overcrowding and returning both campuses to a single-track calendar year.  Located in a residential neighborhood, the 1.9 acre site previously had two houses with delapidated agricultural uses.  The new campus has a three story building with 40 classrooms, a multi-purpose room, a full kitchen, administration space, playground and on-site parking.
