Project Overview

PCSD managed the major renovation of a 50,000 square foot former title company office building into a multi-school facility for Fenton Charter Public Schools. Located in the Sun Valley neighborhood of Los Angeles, this campus includes two elementary schools: Fenton Charter Leadership Academy (FCLA), which focuses on social and emotional learning, and Fenton STEM Academy, which focuses on science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.

At the shared campus, completed in 2015, the two co-located schools enroll up to 864 students each. There are 36 classrooms–18 classrooms per school–and the two schools share administrative space, a multipurpose room with a servery, a hands-on lab, and a playground.
